San
Vincenzo, seaside resort on the
Tyrrhenian coast, is the town with the
most tourist facilities on the Costa
degli Etruschi.
Fine white sand beaches stretch
for miles along the coast, bordered
by dense "macchia", typical
Mediterranean shrubs and trees.
The Rimigliano Nature Park, a
floral-faunistic reserve situated on
the sea edge, offers the chance for
relaxing walks in lovely unspoilt natural
surroundings.
San Vincenzo is supplied with
all public services and services of
public interest.
Nearby is the Baratti-Populonia Park,
an important Etruscan archaeological
site.
Only a few kilometres away are the medieval
towns of Suvereto, Campiglia
Marittima, Bolgheri, Castagneto
Carducci, Volterra and San
Gimignano.
Pisa and Florence, two
of Italy's most important art cities,
are a mere 70 and 150 km away, respectively.
Another important local tourist resort
is the island of Elba (ferry
service at Piombino - 20 Km.).
San Vincenzo also has a large
range of public and private sports
facilities sure to satisfy your
every need or interest. Whether it's
swimming, fishing, diving, sailing,
water-skiing or windsurfing, we've got
the water sport for you. And if that's
not enough we've also got tennis, riding,
football...
San Vincenzo is also close to
the Caldana and Venturina thermal
springs.
Folklore, history, culture and sport
